The S132 SoftDevice is a Bluetooth® Low Energy Central and Peripheral protocol stack solution. It supports up to twenty connections with an additional observer and a broadcaster role all running concurrently. The S132 SoftDevice integrates a Bluetooth Low EnergyController and Host, and provides a full and flexible API for building Bluetooth Low Energy nRF52 System on Chip solutions.
It is a complete stack with GAP, GATT, ATT, SM, L2CAP, and Link Layer. Both GATT Server and Client are supported. The broad feature set also includes Privacy 1.2, LE Data Packet Length Extension, configurable ATT MTU, L2CAP connection-oriented channels and LE Secure Connections.
